The concept of an age-friendly city refers to local initiatives to promote active aging through the optimization of health, participation, and protection opportunities to improve the quality of life of the aging population. It aims to ensure that the physical and social environments, as well as facilities and services, are sustainable, accessible and inclusive for individuals with disabilities with diverse needs. |
